
Meeting purpose: The 2-day MISR Data Users Science Symposium is designed to give users of MISR data the opportunity to showcase science results and to interact with other members of the community. The format will include oral presentations, posters, and interactive discussions.
Presentations: Presentations involving MISR data by themselves, or in conjunction with other measurements and/or models are encouraged. Please check the appropriate boxes on the registration form and provide approximate titles.

Parking: There is a maximum $5.00 per day charge for parking. Use the "North Wilson" structure located on Wilson Ave. just south of Del Mar Blvd. across the street from the Beckman Institute. The "South Wilson" structure is reserved for Caltech parking only.
Internet Access: Wireless internet access will be available.
Register Online: When you register online for the MISR Data Users Science Symposium, you are only registering for this meeting and not for accommodations.
Lodging: You must book your own travel and accommodations. You may download this list of local hotels. Those over the government per diem rate are indicated with asterisks. The rates shown in the list are special rates. Travelers should reference JPL/Caltech when making reservations to get the reduced rates.
Social Event: A buffet dinner will be held the evening of Thursday, December 11 at El Portal Yucatán/Mexican restaurant, located at 695 E. Green St., Pasadena (within 1 mile of the Pasadena Sheraton, Hilton, Westin, and Marriott Courtyard hotels). The price is $28 per person, $23 for students and postdocs (alcoholic beverages are extra). Sign-up is available here. Guests are welcome, so please indicate the number in your party, including yourself. Payment will be collected when you sign in for the symposium.
